Wow, that's a long time riding! It's such a shame that riding is so expensive and also hard to find. I am always jealous of people who own horses. I met a fellow student the other day who owns a Friesian. She must be a beautiful horse.

Haha I used to ride a lot. I've had lessons from age 8 till 18, I don't do it anymore though. I have no time and the acces is hard in Holland. But no, no goggles, but always ride with protection of the skull ok? promise me? haha Yeah the happy tears are great huh. Riding along the beach is fast in my experience. Very fast and sometimes even a bit scary. But the adrenaline rush is amazing.October 11th, 2015 at 09:11am -

It really does look like such an amazing thing to do! This will probably be a laugh-worthy question to ask, but did you wear goggles while racing along the beach?

Hi! You probably don't remember me, but I posted a blog forever ago about being in a car accident and broken up with in the same day, and you commented on it something to the affect of, "I can see the writer in you and I know that writer is gonna get you through this." and I wanted you to know that you saying that effected me so deeply. Hey! I'm doing fine. Living in the Netherlands is kinda great haha, although we dont have the best weather. I did think you knew a lot of Dutch haha we are a tiny country, yet a lot of us immigrated to the US after the second world war. Plus we used to own new York (it was called new Amsterdam in that time). So you been writing a lot?
