Haha yeah everyone I know that comes to my house doesn't get service at all on their phones usually. It all depends on who their provider is I guess.

Wow. That freaking sucks. I'm pissed that TYV are going on hiatus already. Uhhh damn Ryan & Jon haha. I WANT MY RYAN FIX! Haha. Oh that band A-ha. They were big in the 80's for their one hit "Take On Me", they're breaking up after 25 years together. I really liked them too ,cause they had a lot of good songs besides the "one hit" everyone claims they had.
I agree. Music these days has reall sucked. And then when a good new band comes around, it seems they disband quickly haha. It's been completely disappointing. That's why I just stay retro. Music was cooler back in the day haha.

Haha I've been without it for a month & a week, but since I have internet on my phone, it'll do. But yeah I go a bit stir crazy without. I went without it for 4 months before lol. I read A LOT of books during that time.

Whatttt? How can The Young Veins call it quits for right now? Where did you hear that? That really, really saddens me. :( Didn't they just start? I swear haha. What is with all the good bands going on breaks? So sad. I just found out another one of my favorite bands have called it quits after 25 years. It's been a bad year for my favorite bands.

I normally write in past tense but lately, especially with that story, present tense fits so much better. Haha. Thanks for pointing it out, though, I'm gonna go fix it. =)
I'm glad my references made you smile. They honestly made me smile as I was writing them, haha. As for the sequel part, I've been tempted to write more on her. I do like her a lot more than many of my main characters. There's a story I've been thinking about for a while where a few of the vampire stories I've written/will write come together. [i]To Be Free[/i] is themed the same way as [i]Thirst[/i], the one you commented on, but it's a different breed of vamp and a bit cheesy in a sense, but I'm proud of the little bit of action I have in it. I would just love combining those stories. Haha.

I noticed that detail before, and my sheer laziness kept me from going back and fixing it. However, you've inspired me to do so :D

For the beginning, I toyed with a lot of ideas on how to introduce them, and then try and get Alex to be interested in her. I definitely didn't intend it to be love at first sight like you suggested (I, too, don't truly believe in that) but after reading it over, I feel like my intentions at the time were for Alex to want to get to know her only after feeling bad that she was leaving with no friends. I'll definitely go back and make that clearer.

Again, thank you so much for your feedback, and I'm glad you enjoyed it even though it wasn't perfect. It means so much, you have no idea!
