I guess they did the same thing for me. I was being emotionally bullied for over a year, and it got to the point where (to quote from Gerard) it was seriously damaging who I was. But through my love of MCR I managed to get through all of that, to stop sh and I made loads of new friends with my new found confidence. My parents realised that MCR were helping me recover, hence they took me to 4 live shows in 2007. I'm now back to my old self, it took around 3 years, but im better for it all and I couldn't have done it without MCR and their music, and my amazing friends.
