well my uncle is an artist but he does oil paintings
he does them of skylines
and one day he asked me if i wanted to go with him to take some pictures of skylines
and that's how it all started :]
i don't use anything fancy though
just a regular digital camera.
life's been actually pretty good so far.
i'm happy it's the weekend.
you should totally get into photography.
i'm sure you'll love it lol

My school starts August 5th.
I've never been to a school that started on a Wednesday before. : )
Last year, at my old school in Florida, we went to school for two days the first week-Monday and Tuesday.
They had to cancel the rest of the week because of hurricane hannah.
But anywho, so what kind of friends do you want to make this year?
I want to get involved in school activities too, but there's really nothing that intrests me, so I think I'll try to start a poetry club.
And I also made a resolution to wear more skirts this year.
I really like Demi Lovato's style, I think I'll try to copy her when I go school-shopping.
I downloaded her new cd like a week ago, and it's awesome, she's now my new favorite artist.
I really should try to teach myself guitar, but the truth is that I'm too lazy, and severely under-motivated.
My friend wanted me to be in his band, but then he just stopped talking to me...I think he may have died, or gotten sent off to rehab again.
Some people might say he's messed up. A lot of the new friends I made when I first moved here could be considered messed up by Society...but who cares?
This year though, I'm looking for that one really good best-friend.
Hopefully one that will go to Homecoming with me because we'll both be dateless. : /
So do you plan on going to Homecoming?
What color dress would you wear?
And another question: Are you supposed to dress up just like prom, or just like casual-dressy?

Your cousins sound crazy, especially the one who tried to snort a ramen noodle.
And I signed up for Latin last year but they gave me French instead, so I'm stuck with that.
Believe it or not, I actually love geometry...I have no idea why. : /
I just moved to a new school, so when I transferred, I was taking all 10th grade classes, so now I have to go back and take all of Georgia's 9th grade classes, which royally sucks because I'll be stuck with Freshmen my Sophmore year. : (
So, my classes for next year are:
World History ( 10th grade)
Civics/American govt. ( 9th grade)
Physical Science ( 9th grade)
Printmaking I
Painting I
Math II
10th grade Lit.
Journalism I

I love art classes so I'm taking plenty of those all through high school.
But, I really hope I don't get Journalism 1st semester, because everyone who's had it 1st semester failed horribly.
Plus I heard you had to be up-to-date with the news, and I sure as heck don't keep up with what's going on.
Actually, the only way I found out about Michael Jackson's death was by signing in to Yahoo.
And I really want to start excercising before school starts.
So, have you made any new school year resolutions? : )

As of right now though, I'm finding that I'm into singer-songwriters and acoustics all of a sudden.
But I've never heard of the band Thrice, maybe I'll come across them someday. : )
I used to be one of those die-hard Jonas Fan Girls, but I actually think that was just a phase. XD

That's cool, although I've never been anywhere in Texas farther than Austin.
And as far as Louisiana, I've only been to Baton Rouge. : /
But, when is Mardi Gras?
I heard that it was earlier this year, but I've never been sure.
So, what kind of music do you listen to?

cool! louisiana sounds awesome. i've only ever been to one other city called Brisbane and that's where my sister lives. nothing much to do there except surf and see Yves Klein Blue (my favourite Brisbane band). But they have a cool state art gallery there that's like, kid friendly. There was a model of mount Fuji made of cushions that little children could jump on. when I have kids I'm so taking them there all the time.

bumma about that guy. i cant really give you any words of sympathy because i dont have anyone i like at the moment. which is sad. but i met this cute photographer on the weekend. probably never see him again, but if i do i'll flirt so hard!
life's not too bad.
its cold. and im sick. and i've got lots of work due.
but its cold which means i can stay inside, im sick because i had a fun saturday night out (without a jacket) and i've got lots of work due because it's almost winter holidays.
so, yay!

That sounds really cool, I used to live in Texas...Abilene (It's kind of a small town, but still on the map).
My summer has mostly been about chilling, writing, and music...and the Golden Girls. : )
