in response to your last story comment: in a way, yes. when i was writing, i wasn't exactly thinking of the man in that way, but you are certainly right.

if you wanted more detail, the 'man behind the curtain' is the mistress of BL and how she's keeping everyone mindless to her plans, especially the Killjoys. the plans, however, i cannot reveal those to you for intensifying purposes.
