Yeah, I used to be pretty crap at Tomb Raider. I remember running away from all the mummies in the fourth one! But when I was really little dad used to let me help him when he was stuck on a level because I always noticed things that he didn't. Dad always has nerves of steel when playing games where things jump out at you (which I'm jealous of coz I'm a wimp!) So he'd be the shooter and I'd be the explorer, we made an awesome team!

Ah yes, I've played bits of FF and KH round at my friends' houses, I enjoyed them a lot. I also like first person shooters and RPGs. On my PC game shelf I've got things like Max Payne, Half Life, and Tomb Raider.

I remember when I was little and I used to watch my dad play games like Duke Nukem, Worms and Tomb Raider on his good ol' Windows 95 and I think that's what got me started.

So what made you change your mind?

Lol yeah, I was thinking of ankle babies too!

At the interview, I was talking about the game Deus Ex, you heard of it? The game's about 9yrs old now and even though it's really good, surprisingly, there's not many gamers that I know who have played it... or even heard of it. But the ones who have played it, all agreed that it's one of the most epic games ever!

I also have an xbox360 which I treasure dearly... it's like my baby (I'm sad I know)

It's one of the reasons why I wanted to go into computer animation. I could go into the film industry or I could design and make environments/characters/scenes for games. So it's all good. =]

Lol, for one of my interviews I had to talk about my favourite computer game! They couldn't have shut me up if I tried, I just went on and on and on and on...
=] As you can probably tell, I like computer games!

I ended up missing my last interview because I was ill, but I'm trying to rearrange it now.

I also had a little accident today. My ankle gave way and I busted 4 of my ligaments! It sucks. My ankle is so swollen it looks pregnant! Lol.

That's really weird, I'm sick too! I hope you get better soon. Essays aren't very nice to write, spent days writing some to bring in to Hertford Uni interview and I asked if they wanted to see them (because the letter they sent asked for evidence of contextual studies) and they were like "na, we teach you that stuff anyway... I don't know why they keep asking for essays in the letters..." I was fuming cos I spent so much time writing them! (>"<')
Aw awesome, it's good to know you've got a place in the second year! So what would happen if there wasn't any places left? Would your friend have to go on a different course?

Well the maths test was scary, 1 of the questions was -2(sin90+cos-90) and we had to solve them all without a calculator! I think everyone was freaking out which made feel a little better!
The logic test was fun (thanks to taking wayy too many IQ tests on the net)!
The life drawing test started off a bit bad (I think I was too nervous), it was kinda hard but then I got to loosen up and enjoy it for what it was. We had to make quick minute-sketches of the model walking and doing other things.
The interview went great I was expecting it to be really formal but it wasn't. Even though there weren't any rooms left to be interviewed in so we had to do it in a storage closet instead!
I was told that I would head their decision after 2 weeks but I got a letter from them 2 DAYS later offering me a place! It's conditional though, I've got to get 'Distinction Merit Merit' from my course to get in.

Hehe, I'm feeling so hyper and happy! I'm still bouncing off the walls from the adrenaline I got from the Bournemouth interview yesterday.

I'm also scaring myself silly with this psychological thriller story on onemanga called 'Doubt'. I will never look at bunnies in the same way again...

Lol, that must have been funny! It's so random lol! I've got this picture of it in my head and I can't stop laughing...

The only excitement we had in college was when some idiot in the engineering block lit a can of aerosol and left it outside the art block (the engineering students are a bunch of artist-hating-chavs) and that wasn't fun at all.

Na, it's not just you. I can't see it either. I used to have troubles uploading my avatar too, I think it was because my file was too big but it didn't say, so it was just a guess... lol

    Eeeeeeee PANCAKES!!! :) Luv 'em!

One of my friends got me hooked on these pink mushroom sweet things http://www.sweetcart.co.uk/product.php?productid=16212&js=y but what she'd do is hold it by the "stalk" and burn the top over a lighter until it turned a crispy brown colour. It was the best thing I'd ever tasted and part of it goes crunchy and makes a 'pop' noise in your mouth!

And that, my child, is how to get away with murder :P

It's cool that you've got something to look forward to in the week. I came back from a sleepover with a load of friends today but technically it wasn't a sleep over because... well... no-one went to sleep! And the funny thing is that they're all tired and have school or college to go to tomorrow, but I have the day of... HA! It wasn't even my idea to stay up but they all decided to drink loadsa coffee and you can probably guess the rest!

Aww how cute! ^.^ And yeah, I do that on the bus too :) woooo go artists!

There was this 1 funny thing that happened to me last year, where this plastic bottle of red ink cracked and burst on my top. It dripped all down my jeans, stained me all the way through my undies and into my skin. I spent the last minutes of the lesson trying to get the flecks of it off my hands and face but I only smudged it and made it worse. Then my teacher tels us to take ALL our 3D work home with us because there's no more room in the art block, so I dumped all mine in a big black bin-liner and took it on the bus with me. I got on the bus holding the sack over my back and the driver looked at me like he had a heart attack! Then I remembered about the ink (cos I gave up on it and forgot) and realized that I probably looked like some psychotic murderer carrying a bag of limbs (we had made casts of body parts in 3D as well as other stuff). Everyone else on the bus looked just as scared until I said "don't worry, I'm an art student," and they all went "oh," as if it was the most reasonable excuse in the world! XD

I just went out to draw again. I was in the middle of drawing this couple when they started walking away... I had to follow them through town until I'd finished my drawing! I felt like a right stalker, hiding and following them about. I wouldn't be suprised if I got arrested!

I bet you did fine, people always think they suck when they talk in front of everyone. If your friend thought you did ok then everyone else prolly thinks so too! I hope you get good marks!

I'm crying in a corner over my next interview. I've got to take a logic test, a maths test and a life drawing test and score over 70% or I can't get in... then I've got the scary interview with the lecturers of the course who are apparently strict and ask very tough questions. (TToTT) I'm practicing for the life drawing test by going into town and drawing people. The only thing is... I keep getting VERY funny stares. So I have to hide from them (ninja style) and draw them from far away!
