haha My trip was awesome...
We were at the Parliment Buildings in Canada and then one of the Mounted Police rode out so tourists could take pictures and then all of a sudden, this huge mob of tourists ran across the lawn screaming "OMG it's a Mountie!!!!"
It was funny as hell. Plus we hit every museum in the Capital. WOOT!
I'm such a Nerd.
And no, ... I'm not sure what half term is... We have Summer Vacation from the end of June until the second week of September this year...

That’s so cool. I’ve never been to Washington. You’ll have to tell me about it when you get back. I’m glad school is almost over or you summer is fun. I love not being in school. I’m going into my last year of high school what grade are you going into?
A file clerk is someone who files things. I will get paid, but by my dad not his boss so technically I’m working for my dad but it’s cool anyway.
My summer’s been great I just got back from camping with my family. Do you have any other big plans?

We run dances, and assemblies. I’ll be working on our school masses. Our student council does a bunch of stuff and the teacher who helps us run it is really cool.
The Steubenville Youth Conference is a Catholic youth conference in Steubenville Ohio that I went to with a bunch of people from church. It was amazing. I’ve never been around so many people where it was cool to be religious. I go to a catholic school and everyone’s like you’re catholic that’s so weird. Why?
I’m working this summer but I should have lots of time for writing.

haha yup exams are done...
and as I see Jenn has told you, we had a student council meeting the day after. XD :P
Anyways yeah, it's been lazy days mostly for me, the summer trips officially start Friday, heading off to the Capital of Canada for a little sight seeing. XD
oh and my exams went ok... still waiting to see my marks, I haven't got them yet... though my History teacher I saw the day we had the student council meeting and she said I got 100% on my history final exam, so i was like OMG.... Jenn was jumping... it was kinda scary...
Anyways, that is all...

Yeah we’ve finished school. It’s summer break now. I’m not sure what a study break is but we start school again next September. I finished on last Wednesday (our last exam day), and then I went to school on Thursday for a student council meeting. I’m on council next year. I’m really excited.
I went to the Stuebenville youth conference. It was great. I got to spend time with two thousand other high school kids who are catholic it was an amazing experience. That’s all that’s new with me. Are you doing anything exciting over the summer?June 29th, 2009 at 10:33pm -

Here our school year is divided into two semesters. September to January is semester one and Febuary to June is semester two. We do split subjects. We have half of our yearly courses per semester. Four per semester. Some courses are mandatory and we get to choose some. Because I’ll be in my last year of high school next year I got to choose most of my courses. All of my exams were two hours.
And I meant Tinkerbelle was my favorite disney character. Do you have a favorite character?

For us four is every subject. Because we go to a semestered school here we have half of our courses each semseter. So we only have eight classes, but they’re long. It’s not that bad when you think about it, annoying, but not that bad. What’s a GCSE? Is that like a mandatory get into University course? And holy crow! You had a ten hour exam? We only get two hours in grade eleven. We have days set aside just for exams and then they only have one exam a day which is stupid. So basically I have to be at school for roughly two and a half hours Fri, Mon, Tues and Wed.
It sucks that you haven’t been able to see Dollhouse. It’s a really great show and I’m so excited that it got renewed for another season even though it’s only going to have thirteen episodes.
I’m glad you like Disney too. I like so many of them it’s really hard to pick a favourite. I really like Snow White because it’s beautiful and it was the first, Beauty and the Beast because I love the songs and it’s such a pretty story, Huntch Back of Notre Dame I love how real everyone is in that movie everyone has dark and light to them... but Frollo’s just evil... with good intentions, and the Fox and the Hound because I have seen in a bazillion times and I still bawl like a baby every time.

admittidly hers is math so it's a hard one but still
