it's not that i dont appreciate living in america. truly, i do. i am thankful for every opportunity, higher education, etc. i just.. i'm not the kind of person who would take a bullet for my country. that's the only way i can really think to explain it.

i'd love to visit mexico. and in fact, i probably will some day. maybe even your city since you've preached so highly of it. although, i wouldn't really know about the whole OC comparison. i don't live in cali, though i've been a couple of times. but def not the OC, nor do i watch that show. but i get you, preppy and rich, right? anywho, awesomeness that you're so full of pride for your country, i'm not really like that with mine.

oh, you live in mexico. i saw a comment from someone else on your profile and thought you were from newfoundland. i suppose biology in spanish would make sense though, in your case. duh, claire.. =]

ahw, that's a bummer. my mom's pretty laid back. i don't think she's ever risen her voice, like..ever. its not that she doesn't care, she just doesn't yell.

im so glad you went to freerice.com! i read about it in someone's profile on here and went to the site; i just thought it was amazing. not only do you get to learn new words and expand your vocab, but you're making a really positive impact as well. so good for you!

p.s. again, strongly urge you to listen to the song. it's called "allison" by elvis costello. i've decided, elvis costello will play a small role in some of my later chapters as well. ;]

thank you. those are some of the best compliments you could have ever given me. writing has become so much a part of who i am. its been four years since i first decided to try my own at fanfiction, and from that moment on, i've refused to stop.

i agree, to be able to write eloquently is a great skill to have. but, like all skills, can be learned. if you ever want some advice, tips, by all means feel free to ask. i'll do my best to explain the inner workings of this thing inside my skull i call a mind. but in the mean time, i strongly reccommend you read. reading a lot really helps, and also, expands the soul. as well as the mind. =]

haha, well you told me about that whole manniquin story, i, too began laughing aloud. what's sad is that i can picture the whole thing; it only makes it more humorous. i'll have to look that up, i've never heard anything about it before. and just maybe i'll put it in the story. =P

oh and thank you. i'm so relieved to hear people liked it. i was afraid it would seem lame or cliche. i dont know. so hearing that made me feel so wonderful!
