To answer your questions.
1) Yes Harry did hit Aubrey. But Aubrey, I guess, feels like she has deserved it in a way for what she did to Harry, by cheating on him, etc. etc. And in chapter three it fast forwards (I know, confusing) to three months later, so it kind of been brushed off.
2) And that's a difficult question to answer, and I completely understand why you would be confused by that. I really didn't make that super clear. So, Aubrey goes over to London for a month-or so, to go see Louis and then Harry and her start dating. And then she has to go back because she feel sorry for Eric, the one who died in the first chapter. And, this is pretty bitchy, but she goes back and doesn't really love him. She feels bad for leaving him and decides to go back because she feels sorry for him. So, she moves on pretty quickly, and she just wants to be in a relationship because she just wants to be loved. That'll be more explained later on in the story. So keep reading!

I like reading those kind of stories, unpredictable and not so common writing theme.
And I like the fact that it will get darker

And I don't think that the story is [b]that[/b] dark. I mean it has an amazing plotline and just floats perfectly when you read it. You sure know how to make a reader hooked onto a story.
Maybe as the story progress it will gain more comments; but don't let that distract you from writing
