I heard that you helped *ahem*
cook everything. 'Biscuits were alright.
I'm glad you added I_digress -
I think you'll find him hella lot
more reasonable than Michael.
=] And I like that comment
that Taken_By_Nightfall -
hehe, I'm not the only smart one.
hahaha you haven't listened to our conversation from the start have you? It all started about 'why should anyone have faith' and then got a little lost along the way (maybe when i started talking about eggs, who knew?). That was the question that never got properly answered, so if you could give me a naice and clear answer anytime soon it'd be great =].
So, writer of 'truth', who's real name would be useful to know, what have you got to beleive in?
Why do you have faith in something you can't defend?
Well, you like to cook, though. I'm making cheesy bacon muffins (from scratch!) for Thanksgiving here at my mom's. I have yet to start . . . I should prolly go do that. =/
Okay, I take back the thing about decency. Nice follow-through. Michael and I have been having this same argument for weeks now and neither of us is progressing is swaying the other. I don't like to admit it, because I never believe in it before, but this seems to be a lost cause. I never believed in them before because I always thought something could be done to make it . . . er, not a lost cause. Lol
This idea for a column popped in my mind a little while ago. What about a column called "Finding God in Everyday Life"? It would be about like random perspectives and items and lifestyles and stuff in everyday life and I would write about how the topic is for or against God and why. Let me know what you think ASAP! Thanks again!
Where's my credit!? And not that I don't agree with you about the FnHeroes thing, but if you're going to call him out on it, don't you think you should have the decency to confront HIM about it? =] Just saying
hahahahaha, i just saw your post "FnHeroes is so wrong!!!!!!" but then realised you never had the inititive to actually try and take me on about it. So i thought i'd get the ball rolling, because it hurts me one the inside to know that people are scared of actually talking about it......hahahahahahah....
So why am i wrong?
no problem :) Is there something you could maybe write about the Catholic school board or something involving the reputation the Davince (however you spell that) Code gave it and the Catholic church's backlash, that one's a bit older but what the heck. Just thought I'd throw those out there. Hope I can be of any asistance at all :)
That sucks abou tthe article getting deleted.
I'm sorry about that, and yeah, obviously,
she commented back. But, you never responded
to my comment two comments ago. (It's your #6)
No problem. So what exactly kind of columns do you usually write about? What do you want as the general subject matter? Or is that what you are struggling with? I'm sorry, I'm trying really hard to think, maybe there's some sort of national event or something thats happened recently you could write about? I'm trying really hard, I'm sorry if I don't end up being much of a help a all.
That's a good question, and you're welcome
about the column idea thing in my pf.
Well, of course, Harry Potter is amazing
and incredibly popular among our family
(yourself included), but Twilight just seems
like much more my forte, you know?
I mean, vampires, teen-fiction, romance (Twilight) vs.
magic wizards, all ages fiction, and action/adventure (HP).
It's a really tough choice because J.K. Rowling
and Stephenie Meyer are both great authors,
but have really different writing styles.
I was thinking about writing something
that had to do with Atheist holidays.
I mean, do they celebrated Christmas,
Easter, Halloween, New Year's, Valentine's Day,
or any of the other countless
religious holidays. I mean, I'm sure
some of them do, but they probably
don't think about the true meaning
behind it. I need to ask some of them
if they do celebrate it.
