But how can one say it without being absolutely free? All the information we possess is now very often on the Internet.

And if you think Big Brother isn't watching, then you are mistaken. They can track your phone and pinpoint you to anywhere in the world.

All the technology is there and yet we call ourselves free.

I'm not sure why, but I'm a bit OCD about the top friends. They have to fill the whole line...

Popular and famous really are two different things; but I understand that was not the point of your article. Popularity in general can be terrible, sure.

Hmm. Well actually, I think there is a rather large difference between being popular and being famous, as it is with celebrities. Popular means being well liked and having many friends. Famous is having many many people know of you. There is a difference. You can be famous and be popular with society but you can also be famous and be unpopular. A classic example: Paris Hilton. People love to hate her. She is not popular but many people know of her. She is famous.

Look, i don't want to get pedantic, but you seriously need to sort out your gramma or whatever. Your comments barely make sense, often you miss important words or make really simply errors.

Which brings me to your recent comment... it really made very little sense, so, in the absence of anything to reply to, i'll simply say this: Faith, in my opinion, has been one of the most destructive forces in human history. It is responsible, along with greed, for almost every human atrocity ever commited, including the holy wars, the holocaust, the rawandan genocide.... the list goes on. Faith is usefull only for controlling large numbers of people and fooling yourself into thinking an action is justified where in reality it's not at all.

I understand. I have a Christian friend whom I adore. And like i said, I really wish people like you were heard more so than the 'bible thumpers' there'd surely be less conflict.

Well if you have faith that your friend that you lent a large sum of money to will pay you back, and he doesn't, wasn't believing that he would untrue? Faith takes all the worse, most blind parts of hope and trust and bundles it all into one expectant package that society shoves down your throat and demands that you have. I prefer to live in reality, and accept that some things just aren't going to go the way I want them to, and I don't expect them to.

What is the difference between believing a lie and believing something not supported by facts.... wait... a lie is just something thats not supported by facts, so they're .... exactly the same thing....

I read it; And I agree with it entirely. There's absolutely nothing wrong with sharing your relgion and views with others as long as you do it in a decent manner.
I'd much rather have someone say "Hey, this is my religion, wanna give it a try?" Than have a man stand on the street and shout at every passer-by "HOMOSEXUALITY, LYING, CHEATING, AND FORTUNE TELLING ARE SINS. YOU'RE ALL GOING TO HELL UNLESS YOU CHANGE YOUR WAYS AND ADOPT OUR RELIGION." (Which, in a sense, has happened to me.)

You're quite welcome. And that's cool. I'm athiest but I don't mind religious people at all, whatever floats your boat really. Everyone thinks I do because I've actually gotten into fights with priests and whatnot, but it's because I don't believe in forced religion. And it really was just a breath of fresh air when you took the approach you did to the subject. (:
