I love Les Pauls. But mine is just a Les Paul style.
I suppose Ibanez definitely has its ups and downs, but again, I can't say anything about Yamaha acoustics. :) My guitar teacher really loves the ESP (but of course he didn't tell me BEFORE I bought mine... haha, I guess it was luck) brand, but he uses a Samick Malibu. The Peavey series are pretty good, too. But those are, of course, electric, and the last two not ESPs. I know another of my teacher's students uses a Fender acoustic, if haven't looked through those. Those tend to have a thinner sound, though.
As it stands, there are ups and downs to any guitar brand, so it really just comes down to what you feel comfortable playing, shape-wise, and the sound it produces.

I'm glad to help. Lots of people don't want to talk about guitars with me. :( What I did when I bought both of my guitars was look online through several brands, designs, and fits and then found a guitar shop to test out a few. My first I fell in love with at a Guitar Center and my second I found at an independently owned guitar shop down in Southern Florida (visiting my grandparents). I liked the independent store experience better because the owner had more time to really sit down and explain the pros and cons to each guitar (that time, I got a ESP vintage Les Paul styled electric guitar, named Paul, after Paul McCartney... ironically, he is not even my favorite Beatle!).
Anyway, your Yamaha. That's the one with the longer neck, isn't it? Now I've never played on an acoustic Yamaha, but I've never been very impressed with their electrics, so... yeah. Haha.

=D its cool. i like to hear that people appreciate my comments. i try to make sure i comment on every chapter of the stories i like/love. i think good writers should know when their good =] thats why i love commenting on yours!

i make sure i always comment yours and if i read it and dont feel like commenting at the moment i leave it open until i do,sometimes i get too lazy to type =]

You're super welcome. I just don't have anything to do right now, and you're the only story that really updates, making it my favorite. :)
I'll look for some pictures for now, and I'll probably end up getting a photography picture because those are just too amazing to not share with everyone. And I'll probably go through and pick my favorite line.
