Okay, you have to be knowledgeable about how these layouts work to make a custom one. Luckly, I know how to make them as you can see on my profile.
So I can offer to make you one as long as you tell me what you want. =]

Or you can check out the pre-made layouts which what you do is:
1. Click on the CSS link on your mibba page under profile.
2. On there you will see a box with codes in it and below you will see little links.
3. Click on the one that says pre-made layouts.
4. Find one[ if there is one you actually like] and then click install and BAM! You have a background. =]
