your mom sounds super chill! my mom usually is cool about buying tickets for me, it's just distance that she wigs out about. yesterday i was really mad that they weren't coming here, but i'm chilling out a little. i mean, i'm not a HUGE boys like girls or versaemerge fan, and i've seen the other bands before, so i can deal with it. and in my town, there's this concert called santa slam put on by a local radio station and there's a possibility of the maine, cobra or ARTTM being there because they're big enough, but not too big you know? so yeah... but have fun if you go! it's gonna be an epic tour.

bahaha, oh trust me, I KNOW! they're pretty much going to the big cities in the surrounding states... chicago, columbus, ya know. i wish my mom was like your mom! my mom doesn't give a shit. i had to literally beg to get her to let me go to What Happens in Vegas... in a town an hour and a half away from me.

oh i'm sure you'll be able to think of something to say! have you seen the tour dates for the Boys Like Girls tour with the Maine and ARTTM? they're not coming to my city :[

yeah, i know what you mean! i was trying to talk to John Gomez and i was like, at a loss for words. he's beautiful haha. but i just ended up telling him they sounded great, and he said thanks, and that was the extent of our conversation :/ but he did get really excited and give me a big hug. it was great.
but it was easy to talk to Halvo because he had talked to me earlier and asked if i knew where any food was around the venue. so afterwards i asked if he ever found anything to eat. and he's just easy to talk to in general, i think.
but hey, telling them how well they did is always a good conversation starter!

oh man, i heard about that! that's crazy. poor Garrett. yeah, i'd have a bad day after that, too haha.
that stinks that you had the chance, but couldn't. i haven't met him. he was like, MIA at our WHIV date. i could have gone and talked to him before the show, i guess, because he and Nick were walking around the neighborhood, but i didn't want to be like, creeping on him haha. but afterwards i saw Andrew, then talked to Eric, then Nick, but Justin was gone. so hopefully they will come to my city on the fall tour, and it will be at a venue where it's easy to meet them after. because i really want to meet him, i look up to him a lot, i guess you could say. Brighten has really helped me and i want to tell him that.

oh gosh, Garrett isn't stuck up at all! or, at least he wasn't when i met him. at warped in Indianapolis, he was just chillin' at their merch tent, while Pat and Vito were selling things. i went up to him and bought a bracelet and then asked for a picture, and talked to him for a little bit. he was super nice. and he almost crushed my friend because she was sitting on the ground, and he was like, "oh, my god! i'm so sorry!" haha
i can't decide how i feel about John. i feel like when he's around fans he's a totally different person. have you read his blogs and stuff? they're so deep and meaningful, and i like that John.
Kennedy is a cutie, and i just want to hug Pat. Jared seems super chill and i hate that almost no one loves him like they do the others!
btw, have you ever met Justin?

yeah, i see where you're coming from with Andrew vs. Loren. but Andrew's a sweetheart. if they had to replace Loren, Andrew was a damn good choice haha.

it's hard to pick a favorite member of the Maine... i like them all for different reasons. usually it's Garrett, but lately i've been listening to John's solo stuff, so right now it's him. i'm sure it'll go back to Garrett soon, though. what about you??

oh, my god, we're like, the same person! i knew of Justin because of Brighten and i like 'em all, too... although i never saw them while Loren was still with them. so i have a special place in my heart for Andrew since he's the only drummer i've seen with ARTTM, but don't get me wrong, Loren seems awesome! but saaaame! i love redheads, but since Nick's not legit, he doesn't beat Justin haha.

It was definitely still a cool experience.

It was actually really disappointing. It had been really windy the past week so everything was all stirred up. We ended up not being able to see any of the small coral reefs. But we still had an awesome time. Plus it was only one day. We were actually down there to see the rain forest.

I just laugh at her and tell her she would swim regardless if the opportunity was awesome enough. I did study abroad in Nicaragua and we went snorkeling in the keys on the Atlantic coast. We all got in the water even though the prof told us they had seen a shark the year before and we saw one from the boat on our way there. Plus it was sweet to see one that close in the wild.

OMG I'm the only person in my house who's excited about it and I don't know why! My mom watches the shows with me but just sits there and vows to never swim in the ocean and I'm just like, "Woman please, that's not what this is about."
