I'm almost seventeen and I figure I know most of the big stuff already. I think parents are pretty much naive when it somes to how much life experience their children have.

Ouch. I've never broken anything but my finger before. That sounds pretty painful.
But seriously. How ridiculous is that? Do they think its teaching us some valuable life lesson? If I hadn't been sick I would have been lounging around at a friends house or at the mall. Weekends are meant for non-constructive activites. Its not freaking school.
