well, I've seen all the movies (parts of the Clone Wars), played 3/4 of the video games, and surfed Wookiepedia for fun, so I know quite a bit about Star Wars.

that book I read was part of the Expanded Universe; it wasn't based on the movies, and the reason why it sucked was the lack of detail, imagery, and the author's failure to explain what the hell was going on.

like seriously, one second they're apparently being cased by the Hutts, and the next they're talking about who should fly to some planet. -.-
