lol, sorry about the long awaited reply, I've kinda been ignoreing my computer lately.
La la la, I enjoy Rammstein :o They've been put on my Ipod =)
xD Maan, that's terrible. The best thing about music, is finding new and interesting bands and such. Being close minded about it just kinda ruins that whole thing there.
Hahaha, that's amazing! I wish we had a radio station like that here. It's kinda all like, Rap, and country, and all that shitty stuff. Maybe I should move to Russia just for the radio xD
Haha, lucky ass. The top music around here is rap, and hip hop, and R&B and such stuff like that. It really sucks. lol
Happy Belated 2009 To You As Well =D
Yeah i'll need it. They are coming close to my area but I know that niether of my parents will let me go. So i guess i'll have to wait. Anyways....How are you?
I always hate it when an act that you really like comes on a day that you can't make it. I should see if Nightwish is coming to my neck of the woods soon. But i hope you have a killer time!
Mhm I'll take a look at them...one of my friends listens to another female-fronted band called Wizard's Rule (I think) but I didn't like the vocals...the music was incredible though.
If they've got anywhere near the kind of orchestration and epicness Rhapsody has, I'll give them a try.
Eek, I've just got into Blind Guardian. They're amazing. I think Rhapsody's orchestration is better, but Blind Guardian has such an outstanding vocalist.
Mostly power metal, symphonic metal...I liked their first two albums, then they did something with their vocals and I'm not too keen on them. Ever watched the film Sleepy Hollow? They did a song dedicated to that.
Haha, I already listen to them. But Rhapsody is probably the most epic band EVER. They created lyrics based on a fantasy saga they made up, hehe. They got a whole orchestra and everything. You ever heard of a band called Pyramaze?
I might see Warbringer/Exodus/Belphegor/Kretor/Epicurean on April. Opeth/Enslaved in May, Nightwish in May also, and probably a local show that my bro might play bass for a band.
So far I've seen Nightwish/Sonata Arctica, Children of Bodom/Between the Buried and Me/The Black Dahliah Murder.
Dark Chest of Wonders is probably the best one I've heard so far...I actually haven't heard more than maybe a dozen or so of their songs. My real tastes are in epic and power metal, Nightwish has a lot of those kind of influences so I tend to like those ones, Kinslayer etc. as well as those with some hint of folk in it
