Exactly. I think that it's good he knew what he wanted, which was freedom, but I think that the way that he went about it was all wrong. It's probably the most important thing to go about it the right way, you know? Not just get rid of all your ID and your money and trek into the wilderness.

:D We watched the movie at a leadership retreat for school, and were supposed to find all of the leadership qualities that the characters had. Personally, I couldn't find any that didn't make him sound really selfish and stupid, but I loved the movie regardless. (Plus, the music was phenomenal. Eddie Vedder = <3)

I realized exactly that about five minutes after we decided to break things off. I just don't know how I'm going to tell him that... :(
