    i have been with my new bf for nearly 3 months, i understand how you feel though as it must be alot harder for you to get to trust someone, especialy because of your child, as by introducing them into your life your introducing them into theirs. But i'm sure you will be able to work things out eventually, it just about working through the issues and walls you have built up emotionally because of your past.

    yeah, i used to feel that way about my ex, but that was because in the end he wasnt right for me, maybe the person can give you what you want you just have to give them a chance, and if not they obviously arent the right person for you, i understand it must be alot harder for you though seeing as you have a kid and you dont want to upset her by bringing people into her life, when things might not work out with them.
