I'll put up the excerpt tonight. I'm kind of worried it won't be how people expect Cherry's writing voice to be, but I feel like it won't be too disappointing. Also, thank you for noticing my attempts not to whitewash my stories. It bothers me too when people make 100% of their characters white.

Thanks for explaining all that, it kind of makes sense now. And I honestly have seen a lot of stories with the gay best friend thing, although you haven't. If you read anything on quizilla you will find one rather quickly, and they are extremely stereotypical and silly. That's one of the reasons I pointed it out, I'm new to Mibba and left quizlla because it got really really really boring. Most authors focused on fantasizing about the perfect guy and barely developed their character or plot at all. That's why I like commentswat so much, it's an opportunity to fix up boring writing (lol...i'm including myself) with the opinion of others and make something better.

Yeah. I had a blast and I heard! I was too busy going to panels and contests to even watch or check my phone for updates haha. I was literally on my feet for like ten hours for those three days so I was exhausted when I found out they won :)

I should program my phone to update me for the final since I am not going to be near a tv at all this weekend, well not during the day anyways. Yes I am cosplaying and my cousin, and a few friends of ours and myself decided to dress up like the Avengers, of course everyone that is going is a girl so they are dressed up like the Avengers. We got everyone except the Hulk XD

Haha I always remember ahlan because when I told these two guys I was going to prom with this one guy they were like "Ahlan!" I know some colloquial words and expressions but that's about it. I lived in Jordan for a while.
Ask your Egyptian coworkers to make you kushari. It's like a carb fest with tomato sauce and browned onions, sometimes made with pigeon meat. It's so good.
