lmao. I just read my descriptions of those books, and I'm like "wow, I'm a tool" ahaha, I wouldn't know what I'm talking about. well, I couldn't find the other two at the library! [at least not the Walter Baker one, and I've read like EVERY good book there, it's gotten to the point where I'll pick up a book, bring it home, read half of it and realize I've already read it before xD]
yeah, when I bought it, I thought I'd read another book by the same author, but nothing for sure.. it was a really good book though.. maybe I'll go read it again [I finished the fourth Capt. Alatriste one today woooo!]
well, it's like I go, read the summary of the book like 'yay, this one's cool!' then while I'm reading there seem to be things missing xD

the little footnotes [that always managed to confirm his greatness] made the book for me. it was so funny.
which one's the fourth one? [I didn't read them in order xD] I read the one where there's that woman who's like "I'm your mom" and Max is all "WTF? noooo!" and there's that weird amazing kid with superspeed and ninja moves that she has to fight [and totally pwns in the face]
then I also read the one where they go to school..? and they're living with whatserface. [woops, forgot her name] and then at one point Max is in this big pit of black nothing like bleehhhhh... and yeah.

I LOVE the Captain Alatriste series [which is weird, because they're historical novels, originally in spanish. lol]. I bought the first one during the Stratford trip because it looked cool and there's the spanish guy.. then now I'm like obsessed :D yay me. I'm reading the fourth.
I also really like this other random book [I never could find the others in the series] called Prince of Darkness, by Sharon Kay Penman.. it's like the 2nd in the series lol. I always do that by accident.
