It's just the fact that one day he can call and get my hopes up and then completely ignore me for a month after that. It sounds like one of those boyfriend cliches but I can't help it.

I fucking hate the fact that he'll do that.
Or that he'll promise something and completely deny it by the time I get the guts to ask him about it.

I just... urg.

Is it a bad thing to say that right now I hate my dad very much?

I do know that my poem was fairly pissed off, but I wrote what I felt at the time. It's just that I'm having an issue accepting what organized religion (not just Christianity) is saying because so many wars and horrible things have been done in the name of 'purifying' the world.

The poem is mainly a vent for my anger about being called a garbage in my beliefs because I believe people have their own paths to follow and all paths lead to a central goal of harmony. But, it is when people believe they're own beliefs are the only truth there is in the world, that they go a little crazy and try to 'save' people that it starts to piss me off.

I do not condone religion or spirituality as long as it is peaceful and carried out in a way that uses love and compassion rather than fear and hatred to convert people. However, you must understand that if someone does not believe that a story actually happened, they will categorize it as folklore, because it is so to them (Do you believe Zeus throws thunderbolts? Or Ra is the sun? In ancient times, these things were fact, but now, we regard them as myth. Truth is relative, and the only thing that we actually know is that we exist --- I think, therefore I am.) Is it that your beliefs are so fragile that they cannot stand up to a little opposition? If you truly believe in this energy that you call God, you will realize that my words do not matter, because I am no one to you, I am just another person on this planet that does not share your thoughts.

We could always just talk like this... my computer doesn't seem to mind this... lol.

The 'Dave' dude that's going to fix it won't be in Denison again until Friday... then he still has to look at it and see if he CAN fix it. Ugh...
