Yeah, I joined a few clubs, hiking club and hall council. I'm hoping I'll be meeting new people and make some new friends. :)

Yeah. I mean, it's only for like 8 months, but still. i mean, the best part is is that we both have our own friends outside of the apartment and she's not around on the weekend.

Every time I ask nicely, she says I'm using attitude and to stop. So, one of these days I'm just going to put my damn foot down and be like, no, it's my room too. I give you so much fucking space for your religion, you need to give me mine.
Yeah, I miss getting paid regularly. :( My schedule at school is too busy for a job right now... Biology is such a time consuming major!

I've been good. School is going well. I love my classes and my professors and I'm trying to get as involved as I can. But, my roommate situation is tricky. I'm in an apartment with 3 other girls. My roommate, the one I share my bedroom with, is of middle eastern descent, so she has a lot of rules for her way of life. Plus she's really rude as I've found out these past few days. She texts late at night when I'm trying to sleep to have enough energy to last through my 8 am classes three days a week and then she unplugged all of my chargers for my laptop and my computer, both of which died within thirty minutes of my first class the next day. She's being really rude when I'm being extremely considerate for her religion and her ways. The least I expect is a little understanding from her that I have to get up early for classes almost every day of the week. But, my other roommates are a little better, lazy, but nice and easy to get along with. So, it's been a tough adjustment living wise and I feel like I'm still not used to it yet. The school work is what I expected, so I'm fully prepared there. My mom is coming back out in 2 1/2 weeks to visit for 2 weeks, so i'm excited and looking forward to that.

Yikes! That's one thing that everyone forgets to do when they're in one hundred degree weather, drinking is so damn important! I took my cousins on a whale watch this summer and one of them doesn't remember to drink, and he almost went over the side. I was like oh no you don't! Scariest moment of my life thus far. I'm glad you had a blast! I'm also glad Jami is really nice. :)
