Yeah, I quit. And I haven't started looking yet, mostly because a lot of places have already filled up on seasonal hiring. I'm gonna wait a bit before going on another job hunt. But it's nice to have a holiday season off. I worked the last two. Haha.

My Thanksgiving was pretty good. It was my mom's birthday, so I just spent the day with her.

Yup. I'm revitalized and it's Christmas season and I believe that I will find something soon. :-)
In the meantime, my friend convinced me to go with her to see the Velcro Pygmies in Tennessee the night before Thanksgiving. So that was fun. lol. How were your holidays?

Sorry for such a late reply! Uh, I actually quit my job. That's about all that's going on with me. I ended up quitting because of the poor treatment and just didn't feel like putting up with all of the bullshit there.

How was your Thanksgiving?

I'm taking a little break before I try again...because, honestly, I'm getting disheartened. It just really sucks not being able to find a job when I know that I could do all of the things I've applied for.

Nope. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. :(
But I'm trying not to feel too bad about it. Just gotta dust myself off and try again.
In the mean time, I'm busy being jealous that Jacob just got back from a cruise. He was "working"--Adler played with KISS. I think I could handle that job. Ha!

I took a break from mibba to go on holiday and school work, and now I've got another full story going so I will promise to try and update it asap

That's okay. I WISH I was having luck, but I'm not really. I recently received an e-mail, though, from a hiring manager who thought my resume looked "promising" and he wanted me to continue on with the application process for the position I submitted my resume to. Wooooh! So, here's hoping that comes through. ^_^

It's still pretty stressful. I think I have to pick up a few extra shifts because we had a girl quit on us without any notice. It's been kinda crazy. How about you?

I'm doing okay. I have the nasty case of the flu so the days seem to go by so much slower than I imagine.
Halloween is never been a holiday for me haha just take the kids trick or treating. How about you? You excited?

Just couldn't bring myself to write it. I look at it and I just think about how horrible it is. The plot is horrible, the characters are unrealistic. I wrote it years ago and I feel my writing as gotten a lot better than then. Maybe I'll try to rethink it but I won't be working on it any time soon.

Sorry for the late reply. I haven't been getting on here much at all lately. I would quit, but I need the money and with the job market being so awful lately, I just don't want to risk it. That and we just had a key holder at the store quit without notice, so I don't want to throw another one in her face. It's too close to holidays to do that.

As for my weekend, I've been working, so I don't get much of one at all. Haha. How about yours?

Well, I need something and the economy sucks. So my theory is to take a job, even if it's not necessarily what I WANT, and do it well, but keep applying for other positions and hopefully find something better.

My weekend was...alright, I guess. I had to deal with some drama, which always ruins my day. Still, overall, not a terrible weekend. You?

I applied for a job at a bank that I will hopefully get. Good hours and such. And thank you very much! :D I feel all accomplished and stuff. I went and got my cap and gown yesterday. Our ceremony is in December (because they don't have one in the summer, so I have to walk with the people who graduate in the fall).

I've applied for a couple of data entry jobs, not in the medical profession, but other various companies. How do you like it? (Is that a weird question? lol.)

For a while, I was working around 30 hours a week, which is more than I was used to getting. If it wasn't more hours than usual, then it was working, like, 9 days straight. And now I've found out that days off that I requested like three months ago are probably not going to be granted to me because my manager wasn't paying attention to the request off sheet and scheduled me anyway. Fun stuff.

Sorry it took so long to reply. I was working crazy hours and just haven't had time to really get on here and reply to people. How have you been doing?

Busy, as well. Just graduated from college with my Bachelor's degree and am now trying to find a job. Still hanging out with the band as often as possible (saw them last night, in fact). Where do you work?

I know. lol. And he knows it, too. But he can be nice when he wants to be. :-)

Its okay, I've been busy too.
Not too bad, I had an accident not last monday but the monday before. They totaled my car because they guy hit it so bad. We got it all figured out and got a new car but it was a mess. I just started back to work yesterday after being off for a week since.
I work this weekend actually so... :/
