Those damn bobbleheads are AMAZING. xD lol. I know how you feel. .____. I've lost a LOT of really long tales, myself. And whenever it happens, I just get pissed and am like, "FUU" and don't write for a while. x3;

Indeed lol. It's like the That Darn Dragon video. They fly in Cygnus X-II and stop rampaging dragons and such lol.

And I think I'm gonna post my own Rush fic...I started reading yours and it made me want to write one. ><

Yeah, you're true there lol. Yeah they've been on tour for a while now with little break and at their age, they have to be absolutely exhausted. I don't even see how they toured the way they did back in the 70s. I don't care how old you are, they were nuts. xD I don't see how any of them do it! lol. And Geddy with the singing, the bass AND the peddles? I mean, I have decent hand-to-hand-to-foot independence but DAYUM. xD; I think Neil is just as nuts in that respect. He does the show (which just WATCHING him play exhausts me after a while xD;), and then between shows he's on his motorcycle instead of relaxing on a bus like he probably should be. At least for the most part. lol. Seriously. I think they might be aliens...or superheroes. Or SOMETHING. xDDD;;

Oooh yeah. xD lol. Their new sound actually surprised me a little! Lol. Not in a bad way of course! One of the things I love about them is when you listen across their albums you can almost always gauge what decade they wrote it in. They always manage to find their sound in whatever decade.

And Oooh yeah his voice will be perfect for it. And it's very true that out of the three of them, Geddy is aging like a champ lol. Really, all three of them aren't doing so bad, especially for their "rock star" status lol. It probably helps they didn't seem to go through any major drug-induced blowouts lol. I mean Alex and Neil are just putting on age weight and Alex has a bald spot that makes me laugh because it's like my dad's (I think it's that eastern-ish Euro thing because they've aged very similarly lol).

Yeah, but I think most guys have issues admitting that they need to slow down in their old age (my dad, for instance lol. The man is gonna be 68 and is FINALLY realizing he can't handle everything he used to). I think part of it, too, is that they didn't want to let anybody down. :-/ I think one of Neil's journals on his website said something along the lines of wanting to make a "full circle" so-to-speak.
That is really upsetting though. D; Poor guy really does need to ease off their older stuff just for the sake of keeping his voice at all. :-/ The boys are definitely getting old. D; Although I feel their sound gets richer with age (if that makes any sense lol). I was comparing some of their songs from the R30 tour recording with the Rio recording and even in that two years (I think..?) there was a bit of a change in the "richness" of their sound. Either that or I'm insane and just babbling nonsensical things which is also a possibility...lol

UUUGH ME TOO! I saw them in early October last year! And my boyfriend and I tried our damnedest to get tickets for when they came back but our parents fail. lol. It was so awesome I felt the same way! I was so sad when it was over finally over! And that Alex didn't do a rant in La Villa Strangiato. ;A;

Me too! And now because of their Euro tour the new album doesn't come out until next year. ><

Ah, sounds a lot like my director lol. I stuck it out because I loved it too much...and my senior year I was drum major and could pretty much override my band director which was awesome lol. And meeee tooo on the freakishly obsessed Rush fan bit~ Have you been able to see any of the Time Machine Tour shows?

Okay seriously? You are/were in marching band AND you're a Rush fan?
