You're welcome for the comments. you deserved them :) You write nice poetry :D
Thanks.
Ooh, interesting! I only know there is such thing as a green flower. I've never known it was possible for purple trees. Weird. @,@ And awesome!
So how's it going?
I couldn't help noticing in Kara's comments, that you like to play piano, well so do I! though nowadays it's just for figuring out tunes to songs, and entertaining my bro when he wants to jam on his base. as for the piano duet in the movie 'Big' i find that challenging as well, even 'Fur Elise' if were gettin that ar
Trying to learn Linus and Lucy, because apparently that's the "good pianist trademark.." huff.
I didn't name my piano until recently. Me and my brother TREVOR were goofing around, and I thought, "you know what? I love my piano so much, but I haven't given him a name!" And yes, its a he, not a she. That's how I think of my piano. They are masculine.
After about a half hour worth of debate, his name is: Pryce Hugh Alfonzo Silas Miller Grant III. I have a thing for long names. My piano is really old. The black paint is chipping off, the middle pedal doesn't work, the C# above Middle c gets stuck, and almost all of the keys are out of tune, and the ivory is all chipped and stained. But I love it just the same!
Again, rambling. :*-)
Fav. song... hm... It's a close tie between Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, Bless the Broken Road, and Sunshine On My Shoulders. I know those aren't the most, erm, POPULAR songs out there, but they have a flowing rhythem and I just kind of float along. They keep my hands busy. :*) That almost sounded dirty... lol awkward...
I've found that I cannot talk or chew gum while playing. It just screws me up.
There's this guy in my orchestra class that is more passionate about violin than I am about the piano, and that is saying something. He's getting a new one right now, while most people can kind of afford it. And, well, I'm almost surprised that he isn't married to his violin. That was kind of mean. I feel bad.
:-(
So... yeah, I tend to ramble on. Sorry.
Just out of curiosity, do you name your instruments?
I've been playing violin for about... three years now with the school orchestra. I didn't really think, "Gee, my life's ambition is to play the violin!" It just sort of came to me.
I've been playing piano for roughly seven years. Mom started me in second grade with my older brother Shane. After about four years, I grew to love it, and continued even though Shane dropped out.
That's really impressive that you could learn to play by yourself. I applaud you. *claps all around*
I have, like, four songbooks chock-full of music that I need to learn. Well, not NEED to, but you know what I mean. :-)
Does your fam support you, or do they scream at you to "quit that racket" as my brother fondly refers to it?
Woah. There are so many guitar people on here it's nice to finally find a pianist.
Since I'm such a sucker, what kind of piano do you like? Are you into like band piano, like the driving rhythem of The Fray or Coldplay or basically all those other guys, or are you into the classics, or the new age, or what? I'm curious.
Wow, I feel like such a piano geek right now. 8-B
Hope you can forgive me for that.
Talk later!
