So what other books/authors do you like?

When I was still working, one of my coworkers was Hispanic and he was trying to teach me some stuff. He laughed at me a lot, but not in a mean way. lol. I'm just that bad at it. :P

That usually annoys me. lol. My mom won't watch the Harry Potter movies with me because I spent the whole time going "That's not how it happened." But I think, like you said, in the case of the Twilight saga, that would probably make the movies better than the books.

That makes perfect sense. That's a cool skill to have, at any rate. I seriously do wish I knew a foreign language. I'm thinking about taking another one at university...French or something. Just to know it. Hehehe. ... Ah yes. I need to learn to defend myself in Spanish. We have a lot of people who speak Spanish living in the area of Alabama that I live, so I really do need to get at least a little familiar with the language.

Hello! This is just a friendly reminder that you are entered in a contest I am hosting, and the deadline is just under three weeks away!

I was thinking of changing the deadline to the 17th (rather than 18), so I can be sure to have all the entries on my computer to read before my flight home on the 18th. I hope that's not a problem, but I won't change the deadline if less than half the contestants are alright with that. So, please let me know your thoughts on this and I will try to make things work for everyone.

I kinda felt the same way. I actually really enjoyed the first book. lol. But I hated the fourth one. It was terrible. Funny how the movies seem to be the reverse. =)

That's awesome! I took one year of Spanish while I was getting my two-year degree and....I was terrible. lol. So yeah, I sadly only speak English.

Okay, I'll trust you. =) ... Have you read the books?

I've only seen the first one and I hated it, but I've heard that all of the others were better than it. A lot of people have told me good things about the third one as well.

Here, if you don't go to traffic school OR pay the ticket OR show up in court, they issue a warrant for your arrest and throw you in jail. lol. Good times. =) But you can only go to traffic school once every two years. It totally clears the violation from your license and your insurance rates don't go up and all that stuff, which is why I did it.

Oh no....Not trying to get my license, I already have that. This is what I have to do because I got a speeding ticket. lol. I have to go sit in a courtroom for three hours and listen to a cop lecture about breaking the rules of the road, blah blah blah. Fun stuff. NOT! But I'd rather do this and only pay $136 than plead "guilty" and pay $176.

lol.

Because they're soul-sucking fiends, that's why! >.<
And I have driving school this weekend. *sigh*
