Whats crazy is going from spring in australia, to 4 degree weather in germany in the space of about a day. and the jet lag...it was awesome tho :P

2 months, wow! Summer holidays, hell yeah! We only get a month cos its the winter holidays here. Gunna go anywhere, or do anything special on the hols?
Australia is fun i guess, just depends on where u go. Its probably not even that much different from America...
I didn't get any photos that night, i was too far away from the stage for the flash to reach it. The band were pretty good though, they played for two hours so i was kinda getting sick of it by the end. One of the support acts, The Paper and The Plane, were really good though, i'd seen them a few weeks ago supporting Brand New as well. I bought their ep and got the lead singer to sign it! :D I was too shy to go up to him though, so i had to get my friend to ask for me, haha. I'm so lame :P

When my (currently non-existant) band gets big enough we will def come to texas! :P I've only been to America once before, and i was about 3 at the time, so yeah, don't really remember much of it...
Anyway, i haven't got my marks back, i'm on holidays at the moment so i'll get em back once uni starts again. Holidays, yay! *does happy dance* Now that i'm 18, i'm going to try to go to as many good over 18 gigs as possible :D I went to one on friday night, the band was The Red Paintings, and they were a little eccentric...they had body canvases and people dressed up as wolves and the (male) lead singer was wearing a dress and a red riding hood :P Twas an experience... :D

hehe, people wouldn't know what your real hair looks like, so they'd think that was a wig too :P
That would be pretty awesome to be in a band well enough known to go to the states. I wanna be in a successful band, dammit!!

yeah most of the bands were pretty awesome, one of the bands, Operator Please, has members that are only 17/18! And they formed at a high school near me! One of em plays the keyboards in it, so i was like dam! i could be doing that!

I had my test today!! i think i did okay though, so its alright, i answered everything so i'll probably at least pass, yay!
The bands that i saw at the music festival were Violent Soho, Wons Phreely, Red Riders, The Panics, Ed Kuepper, The Grates and Operator Please, i don't know if you've heard any of them, they're all aussie bands

hehe i'd love to see a gang of people dressed up as billy, jimmy, james n darcy n so on! That would be awesome! I was just thinking how cool it would be if there was like some fan club for the pumpkins that met up every once in a while to have a pumpkins related party or something, that would be so awesome! I should start my own, haha.
i've never smashed a pumpkin but i'd like to try! Trouble is no one seems to go to the effort to buy and carve pumpkins round here :( or i could just buy my own! :P Actually i may have mashed bits of pumpkin once, while helping my mum out with dinner, lol, but that doesnt really count! Need to get a whole pumpkin and a mallet!
hehe i was actually studying just before but thought i'd take a break and go on mibba for a bit lol, probably shouldnt have done that as mibba is very distracting!
Anyway, the test is for modernism and post-modernism, art history stuff, sigh! Some of its kinda interesting, but most of it is pretty blah.
