Arrgggg I hate you. I wanted to get one of those, but my parents won't let me cause I have a perfectly good iPod. Which is great, but let me tell you, I would kill for music during some distance sets.

That makes sense. Ours is just age. Which can suck, or be great, depending on how well you're doing that season.

It sounds great. I'm jealous xP

LOL I know you are. But I'm still gonna bug you xD
Unless I forget to. Which is very possible.
I swear, I have ADD sometimes...

I would have to agree...
I kind of ran off to my dads though for the summer...
But we'll see how well that goes..

Me too. It feels like I've been swimming forever, even though I probably haven't.....
The way my club works, you swim in age divisions, so there's only certain races you can jump up in. So how much competition you have really depends on what team you're racing.

That's really cool. I'm happy for you (:

I get that. I really do. But I'm still waiting xD

Haha mine too (:
I honestly don't remember how I lived without it. I love it.
Oooo that would be great. My coach would probably have a spaz attack if I tried to do that.
Although if I did okay, she might not care as much....

Oh fun! I wanted to be a Water Babies Instructor, one of those people that teaches little kids to swim, but I'm a year too young. Next year....

Lmao if you'd get it out, I wouldn't have to be xP

I love to swim, but that's not really a contact sport. I've injured my shoulder and stuff from over-use, but the only time I seriously hurt myself was when my friend shoved me on the wet pool deck.... he thought it was hilarious. I didn't.

I don't really hurt myself that bad that often. But I can see what you mean.

LOL I don't have to work this summer (until the end, and even then it's a fun job). I'm just taking lots of trips. But that means I won't really see my friends, so I understand that part of it. It's not fun.

LOL awesome. I'm looking forward to it (:

LOL I know what you mean. I'd be the type of girl that didn't want to be tackled, though. I have absolutely nothing against sports - I was watching the hockey game last night - but yeah, no tackling for me.

Mine stopped hurting after two days. But I don't take pain meds (I have a pretty high pain threshold so I really only take them if I'm practically dying or something).

I know what you mean.... it's kind of bittersweet. I'm not working until the end of the summer, but that's mostly cause I'm out of town for the first part. And my best friend is going to be in Europe basically the whole summer (don't even ask how jealous I am) so I won't get to see her at all.
It's..... yeah, bittersweet.

LOL I know how that goes. I'll probably have something up tomorrow but I have no idea what yet :\

I used to be a huge tomboy. But it gradually decreased as I got older. So now I hang out with boys but don't play sports with them.... partly cause they get super insanely competetive.
But oww! And I thought I had it bad!
I'm glad you did good, even if your hand hurt xD
That really would suck.... I remember trying to play piano with a broken wrist... didn't go so great. (My teacher actually got really mad at me lol)

LOL I kinda get what you mean.... I'm sure I'm gonna miss school once I'm out. But at the moment.... I really just want to be out.

LOL I know how that goes. I've become a pretty good typer, but it was slow when I started. Let me know when you post more.
And I'm glad you liked my chapters :)

LOL that's awesome.
But kind of sad.
Sad that you got hurt, I mean.

Isn't the end of the year crazy? I can't decide whether I love it or hate it.... depends on what I have going on, I guess. But I hope your finals go well and that your solo and wrist turn out okay and everything.
LOL that was a lot of good wishes.....

Don't hurt yourself updating. I'd rather you don't hurt yourself so much you can't type, cause that would mean no updates for awhile.
And I should have another chapter out in a little bit.... I'm just finishing up the end of the scene (:

In my opinion, music is the closest thing we have to magic (:

Owwwww. it hurts when your finger gets hit with a kickball..... much less a brick wall. Did you go to the doctor or are you just dealing with it? Cause that sounds like it's painful.
Very painful.

I'm supposed to be studying for finals, but their not for another few days so I'm trying to finish my latest chapter.
And speaking of that, I liked your newest chapter. Even if I am a day late reading it (:

I agree (:
Music is like the universal language. Especially with all the different genres that people like or dislike....
LOL my brain isn't working today. I'm failing to be deep :(

I'm sorry about your wrist/finger thing. How'd you sprain them?

No, it makes sense to me. That's exactly how it is - there's just something about it that people can relate to, even if they're not relating the same way. Some people can use it as an outlet for their emotions and write the songs we know and love, and some people just listen and understand.
If that makes sense.

LOL it kind of is... but I love it anyways (:
I really don't think I could survive without music. It's such a huge part of who I am. It's like music can say things I really can't put into words. Like certain songs have messages that I really can't describe, but I just know. Does that make sense?

And yeah, that's my saving grace. Otherwise... it wouldn't be fun :(

I'm the exact same way (:
One of the first things I do when I get new songs is find the lyrics. And I'll have them memorized after listening to the song a couple times.
Music is amazing (:

Yeah, it kind of sucks.... if the class turns out to be crap, I'll probably switch out of it. I can do some of the basic stuff on my own (which is sometimes better than having specific assignments).

LOL I know what you mean. I'm plugged into my iPod so much it's not even funny.
I just got 6 new CDs yesterday... what does that say about me lol.

We don't really have a music composition class :(
The only good one we have (the one I want to take) is an audio recording one, so you do a little bit of composing but it's also focused on learning how to use the equipment and stuff.
I'm hoping it'll still be fun.

LOL I love music. But I can't take a class in it until junior year cause of the way my school's set up :(
Well, except for choir which my parents don't want me to take in school. And band, which I suck at.
But anyways, this one is supposed to be a cool class, so it's probably gonna be worth the wait.
I hope.

No. But that's actually how it goes. Like in my world history class, I memorize a bunch of useless facts and the information never comes up again.
Never.
No cumulative final or anything.

It sucks.

I hate them. With a passion.
Probably cause for me I have to memorize stuff that I then forget cause I never use it again.
Which is really not helping me learn.
