I love Santana. I just remembered him a few days ago. xD I used to listen to him a lot when I was little. But I kind of forgot about him for a few years.
That's cool. :] I only have Journey's Greatest Hits. But I'd like to get their other albums.
Aw, they dont play The Eagles much on our radio stations. Well, they might, but I dont listen to the radio so I dont know. xD

I think that music today cant even compare to music a few decades ago. There's only a few good bands out there today that are worth mentioning like; MCR, Kasabian, Death Cab For Cutie. I do like a lot of older stuff too like The Eagles, Aerosmith, Journey (although I hate Dont Stop Believin (I used to like it, but my school ruined it for me. -.-)) Santana, and others. :]

I think my fave Doors song is Crystal Ship, I love when Jim croons, it sounds amazing. And OF COURSE I've read No one here gets out alive, I OWN it! lol

But ya, no one has the same amount of talent anymore, it's really depressing in a way, to know that we live in a world where there's no drive to be really great anymore, there's no natural talent!

It's okay about not replying fast. I'm always super slow at that (obviously lol).

How have you been busy? You said that it was in a totally awesome way, which is nice to here, because a lot of times busy is bad thing.

I wish I could find a record player. The only place I know around here is Goodwill, but I didn't find anything in my local Goodwill, maybe someday I'll buy something cheap (but hopefully good) on Ebay or something.

I'm jealous :) My parents pretty much never listen to older music which makes me sad. And feel kind of weird since they listen to more modern music than I do. Although I do listen to some modern music, and the stuff they listen to is usually country music and not even the good country music.

I've been trying to work my way through listening to different older singers and bands one at a time, but it hasn't really worked out that way. Once I finish a couple books I've been waiting to read, I'll probably spend a little more time listening to music online, and then I'll have a chance to listen to a lot more songs. So far I've found that I love Bob Dylan and The Beatles, and The Who is definitely one of my favorite bands. I haven't listened to Led Zeppelin yet, except Stairway to Heaven but pretty much everyone knows that song :)

I've heard of NOFX and Anti-Flag. I've listened to several Anti-Flag songs and they're pretty good. From what I understand both of them are newer punk rock bands. I can't remember if I mentioned this before, but my favorite punk rock bands I've tried so far would have to be the older stuff from the 70s-80s. The Ramones and The Clash are great, and Dead Kennedys are my favorite political punk rock band that I've tried so far. Dead Kennedys is actually one of my two favorite bands [The Who is the other :D].

It was funny and weird because shortly after you mentioned his new CD I saw it advertised on the side of some website. I don't remember what website (my memory sucks). I'll probably look it up someday online and see if any of the songs are on Youtube.

I'm afraid that I'm the one who's rambled on a lot now :)
