Keeping Tom in character was a challenge to say the least. But I'm glad that you think I succeeded. :)


The ending...yes, many people don't like it. However the ending is how the whole story started. I kept picturing a girl pricking her finger and falling to the ground dead. I was inspired by Sleeping Beauty actually...but of course Grace doesn't wake up at the end lol.
But if you think about it, you'll realize that it's kind of the only way for it to end. Grace would have never stuck with Riddle as he turned into Voldemort. She'd never be able to live with herself if she stood to the side and watched him do what he did.
But then, she'd never really be happy if she just left him behind ad staid with her friends. She wouldn't be able to stay away.

I wont be writing a sequel, sorry. :(
However...maybe I'll write another Tom Riddle story in the future. :)

And your suggestion came at just about the perfect time. I'm halfway through chapter eighteen and wondering how I'm going to have Shadows not freak out to the point where someone gets hurt, haha! If you don't mind I'll gladly use your idea :) Thank you again for noticing all the smaller details, I'm over the freaking moon whenever someone notices them.
