I kinda know how you feel. I'm the new kid where I live and not everyone likes me. =/
But don't worry the people that do that shit to you are just jealous and scared of what everyone thinks of them, so they try get the attention of themselves and onto people their jealous of.

hey, thanks for the welcome. i really think i'm going to like this site. so i was reading about you on your profile; what kind of music do you dance to? i enjoy dancing but it takes me pretty much forever to learn choreography.

Well, my dad has been teaching me ever since I was three (yeah, but I wasn't very good at the time of course, my dad even has it recorded!), but I really started listening and learning when I was about 4 or 5, at that time he only taught me the right-hand stance, since it was pretty simple. If you don't already know, the traditional way to carry your katana (japanese sword) is at your waist with the sharp edge upward. I know, it took a while for me to get used to it, but now I'm fine (screw having it on your back, that's wrong, and they'd have a hell of a hard time getting it out anyway cus their arm isn't long enough), anyway, my dad teaches me Okamido, or Way of the Wolf. It's not exactly a combat style, it's really more like how you act while your in combat. It teaches me (and him because he learned too, obviously) to be calm and collected, not rushing into things, disciplined and thoughtful like the wolf while hunting his prey, if you get it.
My dad also sent me (he moved away, he and my mom are divorced, unfortunately) a book written by Miyamoto Musashi, one of the greatest samurai ever to live, he fought around 50 or 60 one on one battles and never lost, starting from when he was 17! Anyways, the book is called The Book of Five Rings, and I learned a lot from it.
Btw, when you think of a samurai duel, or just a duel with katanas, do NOT for the love of god, let anime come to your mind, duels in anime and movies, most of the time, are CRAP. I'm not entirely sure cus I don't bother watching them. All that flashy, movie shit is totally wrong. Duels don't last long at all, and the majority of the time it's just the two samurai staring at each other, waiting for who will make the first move.
