And if you don't want to get smacked don't mention that you don't celebrate St. Patrick's day. My Irish relatives would take that offensively.

It really stinks because I'm not really fond of all the green everywhere...but I've learned not to say that around my mom's side of the family unless I want to get smacked in the head.
