I agree about the band slashes, though I've written... like, three of those. But I like to think they're not cliche.

Post 'em! So you can get better with criticism and so people can help you get better. I'm sure they're better than about 85% of stories here.

I'd probably write a compilation of short stories, since I'm not a long-chaptered-story person. Out of the 100+ stories I've written, I'm only proud of about 30+, and they're not all fiction, so I dunno what I'll write about yet. xD
