Thats really cool, Matt, and at the same time really scary. I can't imagine how that poor woman must have felt. Ignorance is dangerous.May 3rd, 2009 at 11:36pm

That is on my to read list. Oscar Wilde's life is fascinating. No wonder he came up with such different ideas.May 2nd, 2009 at 11:53pm

Kafka is interesting. Perhaps the Metamorphosis was not my cup of tea. I also read Crime and Punishment this past summer. It was slightly more entertaining. I absolutely adore Middlesex by Eugenides though. I read your article on classic novels and was fascinated. I knew I had to recommend something, especially if we could get into a discussion. I read more contemporary novels, although I adore Shakespeare, Homer, Jane Austen (yes, Mr. Darcy needs to come in somewhere), Charlotte Bronte. I just finished The Road by Cormac McCarthy. An absolutely chilling novel, but I couldn't put it down. If you are looking for a good novel, it might be one to look up
Anyway,
Nice to meet you,

That's pretty rad. :)
My literary tastes aren't too widely spread...
Charles Bukowski, Vladimir Nabokov, Nikolai Gogol, Angela Carter, Anthony Burgess, George Orwell & JD Salinger are favourites, but I'll read pretty much anything.
Yeah, that is one generic list. But, y'know.April 21st, 2009 at 08:48pm -
Aww, thanks.
So, which other writers do ya like?April 21st, 2009 at 08:02pm -
Oh, God!
I read the first Twilight book to see what the hype was about, and regretted it...
She uses the word "ostentatious" all the time.
I mean, seriously, "ostentatious"?!
And "smouldering topaz eyes."
EYES DON'T SMOULDER!!
