Codie said that it was Pete's fault because Pete kissed her when she clearly stated that she was Switzerland and he kissed her anyway trying to make her change when she didn't want to. She flipped out on both of them (Pete and William) when they kissed her before, so when they (her family/friends) asked her what made her cut herself again she said Pete because of reasons stated above, so they don't really like Pete right now. I mean the story IS called Aren't We The Perfect Mess... lolz

I'm going to answer some of your questions.
Yes, Lucian was drunk when Kraven called Elisa a whore.
Lucian thinks of Elisa as a younger sister. Kraven thinks of her as an aqantence(so?) more than anything. But soon things start to change.
At the ball, Elisa doesn't get attacked or turned into a vampire. But something significant happens.
OK. So, you wanted to know why Kraven hated her at the begining of the story. Hmm, how do I put this without giving away too much of the story? Kraven doesn't have a personal grudge against her. He just loathes all humans. You'll find out more about it as the story develops.
As for him calling her a whore, its all to do with his hatred for humans.

So, the way I've wanted it to seem, but due to my shitty writing have failed, is that she passed out WAY back at the start of the story, before she talked to Max, but after she snuck out.
And then she had that dream of it all happening, as if she hadn't been attacked..
But it turns out that Max liked her anyway.
