Ahhh that’s awesome!!! Funny convo too. I wouldn’t be able to watch the game either, especially if Jon was RIGHT there. Yeah, he hurt his knee or something. Ughh, the link isn’t working right now. =/

Hahaha, tell me about a long drive. Boring too since there is nothing to look at. Sounds like fine though, did you get school stuff? And you can not go to UND and not not go to the Sioux Shop. I got myself another Sioux Jersey and some pants. Then I got a UND Parise player t-shirt. I was debating on getting a Toews one but I didn’t.

Ughh, so far, it sucks. Haha Well, college in general, not UND. I don’t want to do the work at all. My classes are so far from my dorm too, it’s killer, especially on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays b/c I have 4 classes and my backpack is beyond heavy. On the good nes though my academic advisor is the men’s athletic trainer and my floor hockey coaches for my gym class are the women’s coaches. One was the coach for the women’s Swedish team in the Olympics and the other played with Zach, his brother, Travis, his brother, Oshie Toews, ect.. I’m going to suck though and it’s kinda stressing me out. Idk haha

It’s fine. How was the game?!?
Yeah, move in was the 20th and classes started the 23rd so that’s why the bookstore was packed. I wanted to return something but I wasn’t waiting in the line. Wait, why were you at UND/in the US??!?
Haha, that’s college kids for ya. I did my shopping in the moving so I people were dressed for the most part. haha

Yeah, the AHL is really messed up with locations. I think It has to do with space to but Arenas though. And with Chicago being Atl farm team, there aren’t many rinks in ATL. Hockey will always be behind baseball, football and basketball in the US and it sucks ass!

Aww, I love when little kids get to meet people they look up to or what no. ok, good! I’m looking forward to it. =]

Yeah, talk about time flying by, I haven’t started packing yet and I leave Sunday. Idk when I will either b/c I’m going to be at The Rock (Devils arena) for about 20 hours this weekend working this hockey tourny, then I have my friends Sweet 16 Saturday night. I guess I will pack some when I get home from lunch, tonight and some when I get home tomorrow even though I will be dead. And I need to go shopping, but that’s another story….

    Haha! The present went well...

And Chicago is still my dream town! i love that city! Even though me and my friend almost missed the train home because none of the walking signs were lettiing us walk across! We barely made it though... It was funn! :)

Yeah, I might go for my birthday. I can go before than even b/c of the 18 drinking age and not 19, Ughh, that’s sucks beyond belief! It’s going to be the same way for me when I turn 21. A lot of my friends have summer birthdays. I guess I can go out with my older friends. If not everyone will be chipping on for alcohol and I will have to go and buy it. I thought my roommate was going to be a Jr (long story) so she could buy beer but no she’s not my roommate anymore.

I agree with you. Plus the Coyotes are a better team in general. You don’t want a sucky team coming up. The Devils organization moved twice back in the day but it really didn’t really matter. It’s weird/funny. Albany, NY had the Devils AHL team, then moved to Lowell, Mass so the Hurricanes AHL moved to Albany. Now the Hurricanes AHL went to Carolina and the Devils AHL is back in Albany as of this year. Talk about a merry-go-round

I'm beyond jealous that you are going to that autograph session thing. Travis is a chill guy, i know that much. You must let me know how it goes!

    How have you been?

That's exactly what I thought !! A few of the players came to my town once and I was talking with Brad Eidsness (the goaltender) about the whole name change thing and he said that he'll always refer to the team as the sioux, no matter what they call him. i think i fell in love with him then. haha
Oh yes the Ralph definitely is something else. I love that place :)

Yup, 21, It sucks beyond belief. Luckily Manitoba is about 2 hours from Grand Forks so I can drive up there and drink if I really wanted too. That may be happening over Thanksgiving or something. I already know that my 21st birthday is on a Saturday so I don’t have to worry about classes or anything. I’m glad my birthday is kinda early. I mean, it’s in February but that’s better than April or something. My friends already benefit from me having my birthday before them, I can’t imagine when I turn 21.

Really? I would think they would be, but you know Manitoba better than me by a long shot. I would love to see another Canadian team. I would say make the Panthers move b/c no one really likes them but I would feel bad for the fans that do like that, that’s the down-side of moving a team.

That would be ideal but I would need to find two Srs. b/c each person can only get one ticket and my friend also needs a ticket. Ohh I would too I think most people would but sadly it doesn’t work that way. I need to find parties off campus too b/c UND is a dry campus.

The arena is awesome but it over due for some lengthy playoff series… Hopefully that happens this year all they way to June. =] I was going to be so pissed if it was Windsor/Calgary, but it clearly wasn’t so it was all good. And I can only imagine. I love when places go crazy for their sports team, other than Philly b/c they go overboard and I hate all Philly teams. When he Devils won the Cup in 2003 it was insane, I don’t really remember 2000.

Last year they did something like that last year but this year they are having time slots in which students can buy tickets. Srs/Alumni first then so on. Each year gets an hour to get tickets. My friend and I were shooting for season tickets but I doubt that is going ot happen. =/ That’s a smart idea to stay home/close to home. I’m going to have a lot of loans to pay off and it sucks. UND’s out of state tuition is the same amount as some schools in NJ for instate. It’s ridiculous. UND was named the school in which students study the least and is #18 in party school. I just laughed at both. Haha.

I have season tickets to the Devils and I’m going to miss going to the games so much. Luckily they have a lot of home games while I am on break. That’s awesome that you went to the MemCup though. I was so happy that Windsor and Brandon made it is. Obviously I’m in love with Taylor Hall but I’m also in love with Alex Urbom.

I didn’t slack off but I didn’t study as much as I should have. My English teachers for my first 3 years sucked and then this year my teacher was like a drill sergeant. It sucked. Haha

I’ve wanted to go there since about 8th grade too. I’m nervous but excited at the same time. I’m praying that I can get season tickets to the hockey games but the way they distribute them sucks for underclassmen.

Yeah, and you can still go to Moose games ( I think). Do you like the Wheaties too?

Same. I hated Sr. year but that’s b/c my classes sucked. I would try and enjoy it though. And Don’t slack off b/c when you go to college it’s going to be harder to get back to work

    University Or North Dakota.

I’m sooo jealous you meet Jon and Luke.

Well I hope you get to a game then ! The Ralph is AMAZING !!
