I hope not. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking and they'll help me get tf out. Hahaha.

Haha well I hope it all works out. Roof repair can be a bit of a hassle but there's no reason you should have to move, I woukdnt think

Yeah, they have to fix it. But I'm not sure how bad it is. So if it's so bad they need to repair the roof or I can't stay here while they fix it, then I'll have to move. And unless they're moving me into a bigger or equal apartment, I'd rather just fucking leave.

It's kind of a shit hole anyway tbh.

Oh I would hate that! Doesn't the landlord have to fix something like that?

    Yes! I can't wait!

I know! I hope the ceiling isn't too bad. I can't really afford to move right now and I have the biggest apartment in the complex. So if they have to move me into another one, I'll end up in a smaller space. :(

Nice, I think that will add a whole other layer to the story that I think was missing before!! I know I do that too, where I think back on stuff that I previously wrote and think "Shit, that doesn't make any sense" lol.

Leaky ceilings are no fun. I hope it stops raining soon!

Yeah! And I actually didn't plan for that to happen at all when I first wrote it. So it was really hard to try and fill in those holes and answer questions. Sometimes I felt like I'd backed myself into a corner by making a plot that contradicted what I'd already written. And I either had to cut it out or I had to go back and alter previous chapters (which not everyone would have seen). So this will give me a chance to go back and clean those up and hopefully hint at that future plot. And actually, Nat knows more than she's letting on. And I actually wrote scenes that explained that, but at the end of the day Jo was just not in a good enough place to make sense of them. And I had to cut them out. But now I can go into it a lot more and I'me excited to introduce those scenes and chapters I cut.

We actually don't have snow right now. It's just been raining for two days and my ceiling is leaking. It's still cold but thankfully a lot warmer than it has been.

Can't wait to see the new write-up too. I think by changing it to 3rd person you've given yourself more of an opportunity to clean it up and really get a great story. The first time I read it I was kind of thinking that it's strange that they randomly picked her given her background. I mean, there's no way that no one at all in SHIELD know what she was to Hydra. I think it would be kind of cool to have a side story about them knowing all along or something. Or at least Fury knowing all along, cause he practically knows everything!

Oh yeah I've had that happen before, where your hair turns white from the cold. Crazy shit. Thankfully it's warming up here today but I hear that BC area is just getting swamped with snow and ice. Is it that bad where you are?

Thanks for the comment on Monster! I'm really excited to see what new stuff I can come up with this time.

And dang! I think the message below was for me?

And man. One day I took my kid to school and just walking across the street and across the field made my hair freeze. It wasn't wet or anything. But when I got back to the car there was a white streak and I was like "???" before I realized it just froze. It was the weirdest thing I've ever seen happen. Thankfully I've never had to worry about frozen mascara! Holy crap!

It was fatally cold where you are? Jeesh, we haven't had that kind of cold this year, which is weird, when I was a kid I was so used to it being cold all the time, and the inside of your nose would start to freeze if you were outside too long lol or your mascara would freeze on your eyelashes, now that sucked cause no matter how water proof your mascara is, as soon as you go inside and it starts to melt, you get mascara all over your face. We do have snow for a good 5 months at least though, usually longer.

I can't even imagine being able to have snow and a hot beach though in the same area, seems surreal to me. But I guess I'm used to it, winter isn't winter for me without snow lol

Yeah, I'm definitely not used to it. We had that storm a few weeks ago and we were getting nonstop emergency warnings not to go outside because it was "fatally cold" according to the alerts. We started to run out of food and everything. It was awful. It's gone back to being sunny but cold af now.

Yeah, I grew up not far from LA. It was in the mountains so we had snow. But I don't ever remember it getting below zero. It was mostly just annoying, rather than depressing. Plus, it was just easier to escape it. You get sick of the snow and you just go down the hill and go to the beach (and winter didn't last long). It's not like here where it's EVERYWHERE AND NEVER STOPS. Hahaha.

Hahaha makes sense, I hear BC is pretty depressing in the winter. The prairies are much better, way more sun, except for today :( lol this winter has actually been really annoying, it's been so warm, and when it's warm it usually snows and that means clouds, when it's colder it's nice and sunny. Must be a shockingly different world than California, I'd like to visit California one day, my step sister lives in LA

No worries! I totally understand. I'm actually closer to BC right now and the winters here are killing me (I'm from California originally). So that probably seeped in. Hahaha.

You're welcome for the comment, I really enjoyed reading your stories. No hard feelings, I just had to defend my little area of Canada lol, that's probably a pretty accurate depiction if you're near Vancouver, BC, can't wait to read more, keep up the good work

Thanks so much for your comment on Of Fire and Ice! I'm glad you like it! And yeah, the winter scenes are pretty sad. Hahaha. I mostly just wanted to create an atmosphere of dreariness. But I'll try to lighten it up a bit if I keep them in Canada. I haven't really figured out where the next few chapters are going yet. D:
