It's been a while since I randomly attacked your profile page, so here I am!

An update from me since the last time I told you much about my stories: I started Just A Thief (told you I started it, I think, but never said much more than that). JAT has become one of my babies for the time being. And I've begun the arduous task of re-reading Resigned (my quest one) and re-writing it because I've found that re-writing helps me over the evil hump that we on mibba call Writer's Block.

Hello, megan! That plushie on your head is SO CUTE! I can only assume since you told me you crocheted them that the little guy on your head is one of your own? ADORABLE!

I make my plushies out of felt. It started out as a fun little project since my twin was into making pillows and quilts. I figured I would try my hand at sewing so instead of going to the cloth section I went over to the wall of felt and pulled out a few squares. My mum was a huge doll maker so I guess i had somehow learned from watching her all those years. I had plenty of accidents but I started out easy. I made a muffin, pancake, and a piece of toast. After that worked out I wanted to try harder and more fun things. So I made a star and eventually my own little teddy bear. After I made the eddy bear (which was still an incredibly rough design) My mum posted my work on hr doll website where she does a lot of doll trading/selling and people were interested in her daughter's little creations.

Unfortunately I got so TIRED of constantly making only toast plushies and stars that I wanted to broaden my horizons. I applied the same techniques to things in bigger scale. The Lion plushie was the first thing I attempted to make that actually looked like a plushie. All I did was draw a profile pattern for his face, draw a profile pattern for his body and legs, and then I cut out two of each. Then I just sewed a strip of felt between the two on the top, between the two on the bottom (except for the legs, I had to get a little creative for shaping purposes) and then I stuffed it. Afterwords I sewed his main part on. That took a while. I used little pom-pom things for his eyes. I worked on plushies every time I was brain blocked. SO I guess you can understand that is why I have PLENTY of plushies all over my bed. I've ended up giving them away as gifts for birthdays and for contests on deviantart.

A year later I made the dragon that I also have pictured on my account. It took my entire summer to make. I hand sew every stitch, don't use machines so I have to make these small titches and ensure that the creature doesn't fall apart. It was the most intricate project I had worked on so far. I guess the good thing about working so intricately with my hand is that I have a lot of control. I even embroidered his eyes to be black gold and white.

I have attempted many times to give lessons to my darling twin (and she has yet to completely have me make a successful quilt). Either I'm not a very good teacher or I jut have an interesting patience.

I would LOVE to know how to crochet a plushie. My great aunt is a fantastic afghan maker and she taught me hot to crochet all kinds of blankets with designs and things when I was younger. I've forgotten most of the techniques and I usually just use the simple pattern. I've made scarves for fun. ha ha. I love using the large, fluffy, yet hard to control yarn to make my blankets and things so that they are fuzzy and warm but it is so hard to use!

You are definitely gifted with being able to make those little plushies! How long do they take you?

I think my lion took about 14 hours and the dragon took 36.

Hi again, guys. I'm here AGAIN to let you know that I'm not sure when I'll be on. I'm going to try and update the only story I have something new for: Gretty. Also, there's going to be a title change on that story. I'm taking the "Kiss Me" part. I'm thinking it's cheesy and stupid. Sorry.

Hope you don't get mad at me, but I might have to go ahead and start putting my Rose/Scorp one up. I write a little on it every night...so it's more thought out than all of my other stories on here, lol.
