(: Hi! Thanks for reviewing my story and pointing out the awkwardness. I have a cousin with autism, but his is more severe. I also share classes with an autistic boy who seemed a bit hyper at time but awkward socially. I was wondering if it's not too much trouble, could you advise me on autistic behavior since I'm just basing off of the experience I've seen, researched and read. I've never really experienced it first hand. (I don't really count the experience with my cousin who lives far away because he is pretty quiet and likes to keep to himself so there's not much that I know about him.) Just a few tips and hints.
And I was wondering if you can elaborate more about why you found Charlie's voice awkward minus the Homer part. (It's her family pet and I'll go back and fix it to make it more clear.) Hey! I could definitely try to help you with some of the different behaviors I've seen -- I work at a therapeutic riding center, so all of the kids I work with are there to work with the horses, which is interesting and challenging on its own. What do you want to know? Some of the kids I work with are hyper, some aren't. With all of them, it depends on the day and how they're feeling, just like anyone else. One of the girls I worked with could do long division in her head, one of the boys I worked with refused to interact with us at all.
