A poem for You, or, Why it just wouldn't work out. - Comments

  • As I'm re-reading this I'm realizing how much I love it. At first it was amazing yes, but I must admit to reading it in a slight daze (something along the lines of 'how come she can swear and make it sound good) Now as I read it yet again it amuses me that such a thought process might go through someones mind as they see a stranger smile for apparently no reason, I wish I was that epic. Now to forestall the gushy 'you're my faveorite poet that I've come across including Whitman' I will simply say thanks.

  • I love it. Very expressive and so... real; especially when you swear because it IS real yet it doesn't make you seem vulgar or less intelligent as it sometimes does.

    There is however the one line "Anyway, you were fully certain" you could probably take out "anyway" but that is just my personal preference and doesn't really matter much.
