Gone - Comments

I honestly don't know if I could ever thank you enough for simply writing this;
Even though you don't know me; or the events that have happened in my life.
The emotion it awakes in me is raw and real,
And seeing it put out in words is something beyond words for me.
It spoke to me; and that is what poetry is all about.

It's beautiful.

My dad is still alive and well, and no one i know has lost their father, yet somehow i feel this deep stirring of some memory in my mind, like a dream, your words are so powerful that i can actually image the entire scene like i am watching from above...to sum up what i just said- Your writing is amazing, you have the skill to pack tons of emotion and description into just one stanza of a poem, i praise you for that.
