This is a truly beautiful and skillfully written poem. I love the lines of rhyme you include to create a sort of broken rhythm. Your descriptive writing really paints images in my head, I could really picture this 'atrocity' in my head as people were ignoring it. The last line was my favourite, a really strong way to end the poem. (:
