This is so hard to read. I had a best friend who always acted as if I were the troubled one, though I found all these horrable things about her and her family. Her being poor, raped. She's so strong. she moved across the country. I worry every day about her, and it's been years. I remember her being so jumpy and frightened when she had a call, or when it was time to go home. I have a sick feeling something happened.
