I really liked this. I understood what you are saying.
Constructive Critisiism: If I were to change this in any way, I think I would try to make it so the struggle between love and hate was more of a back and forth tug of war. I don't mean use those words, but to maybe express it being more frustrating? It seems that is what you want to express.
I really love the way you use the mirror as the speaker's self-image. It gives it an object to manifest, and makes it more real.
