I completely agree with everyone else. This poem is amazing. I don't know how they got religion out of it since it was such a small reference but I can definitely see your explanation in these words. It's all so...poetic, haha. Your choice of words is stunning and they practically leap off the page. ''Tear the stitches from your lips,'' is a great line. I can see so much imagery in this poem that it's almost overwhelming. You have a gift. :)

This is one of those poems that you just fall in love with after the first couple lines. I'm head over heels for this.
Wow. The imagery in this is so captivating. I can see it and feel it and it tugs at my heart.
There is so much emotion here. It all just spills forth inside you as you read it.
There should be more poetry like this - really.

Oh wow. I feel like this poem was written about me or something. I just...I don't know. Everything in this is just so relatable for me.
bound to silence by words you cannot speak I LOVE that line. There is so much emotion, so much power in that one line; it's just so captivating.
Honestly, I don't know why this isn't published yet. There is too much history in these words for it not to be heard all over the world. And I sincerely mean that.
I'm going to be honest and say this is probably my favorite poem thus far.
It's completely beautiful.

Okay, perhaps it is just me but the grammar seems to be a little iffy. Some of the sentences seem to be too long. Try reading it out loud? Other than that the content is beautifully written and you seem to be very good at giving stong lines. It's quite good but I feel the sentences could use a little work. (:

This is beautiful! Just beautiful, I love the way worded this poem. I'm speechless...

I agree with Lexie, I too could see this being published and used in classrooms.

I don't know why but this just definitely touched me. <3
I loved the first bit the most because of the way it rythmed.
The whole thing was just beautiful and honestly I could see this published and there would be English teachers teaching this to their students, aha.
This was just, amazing, honestly. I wish I could have a better word for it.
Simple beautiful. <33

AHHHmazing. This is one of those poems that I can see in so many different ways. This could describe so many people in my life. I love it when a poem makes me think.

Wow, this is amazing. Truly powerful words. "With a grace you pretend not to possess" I can really relate to knowing someone like this, you took my thoughts and put them down gracefully into this great poem. And as for the "Your voice will change the world" that really brought the poem to a perfect end., it shows how much admiration you have for this person. All in all, this was wonderful.

Pure genius. In a way, I feel like I know your dear friend. You captured attributes that only a real friend would be able to describe, and you have done so, effectively. You must some great hopes for your friend.

If I was your friend, the person you wrote this about, I would be ecstatic to recieve such a lovely, beautiful poem. :)

Beautiful. Simply beautiful. If I were your friend, I'd most definitely be in tears after reading this. Heck, my eyes are a little misty now.

This is wonderful. It truly is. It's clear you admire him/her. You've conveyed to me that they're a strong, wonderful person who has been through much, but they take it in stride and continue. (That's obvious, though, isn't it?)
