Josh, this is the absolute pinnical of poetry. This gives me the exact same lost puppy dog feeling from my "danger days", and I absolutely adore how you can give me that emotion again. It's amazing how you set your words so that everything flows. Your writing actually reminds me of a river, it flows so beautifully. I absolutely have to read this agian, and bewarned that this poem is going up in that special place on my wall for artists who will bring about a new era for writers everywhere. I know that your writing will inspire young ones in the future, and I can't believe that I actually am talking to you, because one day I'll see you on T.V., or my children will have to study your work and I'll think, "Wow, that man actually took the time out of his day to speak with me." Your writing is truely beautiful, and I hope that you never let your talent fade and keep it sharp, cause I wish to see more poems in the future. :D
Wow, this is really good imagery. You are a talented writer. I loved this poem, it was so beautiful, so magical, so captivating. I can't wait to see more of your stuff! :D
Wow, i really liked this poem. The ending was the best part because it was so final. I love your way with words, your writing style is very unique and the words you use to describe certain things sound intriguing.
I'm going to be entirely honest and say that I just don't understand what deeper meaning most of the things you have posted here could entail. I'm not getting any sense of real catharsis on the behalf of the audience, though of course I can't speak for you as a writer, and a lot of it seems a bit contrived and overwrought. Sorry if this is a bit brutal, but that's my honest feedback.
I think this is my favorite you've written so far.
I love free-verse poems, and you wrote this really well.
You have excellent word choice.
Just... wow. I don't even know what to say.
