This seemed less like poetry and more like lyrics I'd sing along to in a song. I especially loved the part where you mentioned the holes and the light coming out of them. Simply brilliant. I could definitely see a piece like this being published. You should enter it in teen ink and see if they publish it in the magazine! I bet they would.
