The stanzas aren't meant to fit :) The first two stanzas are meant to be unnatural and awkward, unlike the last one which is simpler, like the impulse to run.

I love the idea, though I think it still needs some work.
The stanzas don't seem to fit, and the first stanza it worded oddly.
