    this kinda reminds me of "nothing gold can stay" and i love it. ive always wanted to see the sun rise and , being a budding photographer, i've always wanted to photograph it.

    I can see myself doing all of this, well me as a child...or maybe just a child. The point is that I can see it. This was really good.

    My only question is why are the parents leaving at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. And I don't really like the part about not being rebellious but that if he/she was caught at that hour.

    To me it changed our perception of the Mom and Dad. Are they really mean or what? It felt like if that part should be in there, then there should be more to it.

    I liked this poem a lot though and I enjoyed reading it. The first stanza and the last were my favorites. There was a lot of simple details that any reader could relate to and therefore imagine while they read. That, to me, makes it relate-able. Does that make sense?

    Over all, good poem. :)
